Who We Are
From Design Intent to Steel in the Field
CSG was founded in Las Vegas around a practical understanding: a project model must do more than represent structural intent. It must carry the information and decisions required to fabricate and erect the work.
Our structural engineers, connection engineers, steel detailers, BIM/VDC professionals, project managers, and senior checkers work as a connected production team. By coordinating disciplines earlier, we help maintain continuity between engineering, connection design, modeling, shop and erection drawings, fabrication information, and field planning.
CSG works primarily with structural steel fabricators and erectors while also supporting contractors, owners, architects, and engineering partners throughout the United States and internationally.
How We Work
One Connected Production Workflow
Complex steel projects are not delivered in isolated disciplines. CSG organizes the work around a coordinated flow of information—from initial requirements through fabrication and field support.
01 Align
Confirm scope, schedule, standards, erection preferences, deliverables, and model exchanges.
02 Engineer
Develop practical structural and connection solutions around project and production requirements.
03 Model
Build and maintain coordinated project information across disciplines and interfaces.
04 Detail
Produce shop, erection, material, and digital-fabrication information from the coordinated model.
05 Support
Respond through fabrication, staged construction, erection, revisions, and field conditions.
The CSG Advantage
Technical Depth Connected to Project Delivery
CSG’s advantage is not one service in isolation. It is the continuity created when engineering, detailing, coordination, and erection thinking remain connected.
01
Integrated Engineering + Detailing
Engineering and production teams coordinate around the same requirements instead of handing disconnected deliverables downstream.
02
Production-Level Modeling
The project model supports fabrication and erection information—not design visualization alone.
03
Practical Connection Engineering
Connections are developed around structural requirements and real shop and field constraints.
04
Erection-Aware Delivery
Sequence, stability, access, temporary conditions, and field installation inform the work before release.
Built Around the Project Team
A Practical Partner Across the Steel Package
Different project partners carry different risks. CSG’s role is to connect technical decisions to the outcomes each team needs to protect.
Fabricators
Consistent information, fabrication-ready deliverables, practical connections, and responsive production support.
Erectors
Greater attention to sequence, stability, access, temporary conditions, field welding, and predictable fit-up.
Contractors + Owners
Clearer accountability, earlier coordination, and decisions evaluated for downstream schedule and execution.
Design Partners
Practical structural steel expertise and a coordinated bridge from design intent to fabrication and erection.

The People Behind the Work
Direct Access. Senior Judgment. Shared Accountability.
CSG combines the technical depth required for complex work with the responsiveness of a focused, mid-sized firm. Clients work with experienced project leaders supported by engineers, detailers, coordinators, modelers, and checkers who understand how their decisions affect the complete steel package.
Our culture is built around practical problem-solving, reliable communication, technical accountability, and respect for the fabricators, erectors, contractors, and design professionals responsible for carrying the work forward.
